Tammy’s approach to therapy revolves around the Cognitive Behavioral modality, EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT and faith-based interventions.
Tammy has experience working with adults and children who are dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, interpersonal conflicts, life stressors, mood disturbances and change of life transitions.
Therapy is a process that takes commitment, time, cooperation, and work. Tammy helps clients obtain and maintain a toolbox of coping skills that can be utilized in any situation.
She holds Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees from East Carolina University and is dually licensed to practice mental health and substance abuse therapy.
